Jill Patton is a Director in Financial Advisory Services, specializing in State and Local Tax (SALT), at Willis Group Consulting, LLC (WGC). Ms. Patton has over 18 years of business experience, including several years at Arthur Andersen. She has 11 years of experience managing SALT departments in the oilfield services, manufacturing, and retail industries. Ms. Patton specializes in state and local audit management and defense, compliance, planning, automation, technical research, creation and revision of policies and practices, and department organization.
Prior to WGC, Ms. Patton was a Director at a Houston based consulting firm where she helped develop and expand their SALT practice. She has served as Lead on many of the energy and manufacturing clients and led various projects from audit management, interim tax director, process improvement, and department restructuring.
